Elon University's baseball team has suspended sophomore student athlete for a "violation of team rules," after he was arrested Friday morning.
Town of Elon Police arrested the student in the early morning hours April 20 after he made an "unauthorized entry into 606 East Haggard Avenue," according to an arrest report obtained by Elon News Network.
The sophomore student athlete was also charged with underage drinking. He was taken to Alamance County Detention Center, where he was released on a $1000 bond late Friday morning.
His charges were dismissed by a court on May 2.
