Coming into today’s game, both senior wide receiver Terrell Hudgins and ASU senior quarterback Armanti Edwards have been highly targeted.
Hudgins virtually seems to have every SoCon receiving record and this season has made his presence known on the national level breaking several records. Most notably breaking a record held by Jerry Rice last weekend at Western Carolina.
Edwards too will graduate as one of the most decorated players in the SoCon’s history in his position.
Last week, Lembo had this to say about Edwards: "Obviously, with Edwards, you are playing against the most prolific player in the entire FCS," Lembo said. "He's got the unique ability to blow a game wide open with the very next touch of the football. Just when you think you have him contained, he does something incredible."
Last season, Edwards won the Walter Payton Award, given to the nation's top FCS player. He is also the school's and the conference's leader in total offense, touchdowns responsible for, touchdown passes and rushing yards by a quarterback.
