At this time of year, it seems that everyone has resolutions on the brain - how can this year be better than the previous one? Though I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that it's already 2011 (and I hope I'm not alone in this), I've been thinking a lot about resolutions for the News section of The Pendulum and how we can produce great news content each week while continually pushing ourselves to reach higher levels of excellence.
With the start of another year comes a new Pendulum staff and while some people kept their positions from last year, we also had the pleasure of welcoming many new staff members. I will continue to serve as one of the two News Editors, and sophomores Kassie Cloos and Melissa Kansky will also be joining the News team as News Editor and Assistant News Editor, respectively. Each brings with them new ideas, visions and goals for the News section that I am so excited to see take shape in the coming weeks and months. A lot of how we structure the News section will stay the same, but much will also be restructured to bring even better content to you, our readers.
