The second week on a job proved a bit more challenging than the first. I had some difficulties with organization while writing, but Grace's edits really highlighted what needed to be reordered for the sake of clarity.

The Washington Center piece was admittedly not my best work.  It was difficult to quote a lot of students on their experience without sounding redundant, and details on the seminar program itself were surprisingly scarce. It came together alright at the end though, and I enjoyed talking to students about the unique opportunity they had in January.

This week, I'm really looking forward to writing a follow-up to Caitlin's story on the Vote Against movement. I'm interested to see who attends the "Race to the Ballot" event on the 15th, and even more interested to see if any viewpoints change after the session. Voter registration will continue that night, so I expect a big draw. I think this piece might lend itself well to multimedia, and I'm currently contemplating the best way to execute a package. Keep an eye out!
