This week was hectic but fulfilling. Profiling Darien Flowers allowed me, and our readers, to get to know the new top dog in the SGA as more than just a student politician. Darien is smart and dedicated - he did win the executive presidency, after all - but he's also genuine and engaging. I did my best to portray that in my article.

Simplifying the SGA budget allocation process was slightly challenging because it's fairly complex and detailed. But, the current executive treasurer was pleased that students might now better understand how SGA funds are allotted to organizations and events.

Using Janna Anderson's fifth Future of the Internet story as a springboard, I gathered viewpoints from around campus on the prevalence of multitasking with digital technology and its possible effects down the road. I found, in short, that no one really knows what the consequences will be, but I hope to spark discussion about an increasingly relevant issue.

I'll soon provide detail about the new SGA scholarship, an effort spearheaded by Sam Warren. I anticipate another busy week, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
