The Elon University Student Government Association, in partnership with the Student Union Board, confirmed that Chris Webby and We The Kings are the performers for the 2012 Homecoming Concert.
The concert will be held "Under The Oaks" on Friday, October 19 at 8 p.m. The concert is free to all who wish to attend. The venue will open at 7 p.m.
According to the SGA, the acts for this year's Homecoming weekend were chosen by students and ranked in the top five in a survey that was conducted in the spring of 2012 and sent to all enrolled students.
No alcohol or coolers will be permitted in the concert venue and security will be on-duty throughout the event.
"We apologize for any inconvenience that discrepancies in previous unofficial announcements may have caused the student body, alumni and the greater Elon community," said Public Relations Chair Sarah Dodge. "We look forward to seeing you at the show"
