Elon's communication majors will be seeing some changes to their school in the not so distant future.
Within the next three to four years Dean Paul Parsons of the Communications School expects renovations to the McEwen communications building to begin.
The current plans include connected buildings that overtake the parking lot nearest McEwen and eventually connect into Long. The buildings will include large glass fixtures and a plaza that will connect the Elon community to the communications campus.

Dean Parsons wants to bring all of the branches of the communications school back together saying, "We function best as a holistic school when we're under the same roof."
Once construction begins Dean Parsons expects that the project should take anywhere from one to two years to complete.
