This morning Elon Athletics released the complete 2014-2015 men's basketball schedule.
Following an exhibition game against Emory and Henry, the Phoenix will open the season at home against Florida Atlantic. The game is part of a doubleheader with the women's team which opens its season against Anderson University.
Following a second home game in three days against UNC Charlotte, the Phoenix hit the road for the Cancun Challenge. During the tournament Elon will head up to Evanston, Illinois to play Northwestern before flying to Mexico for games against Morgan State and North Florida/Liberty. The team wraps up the tournament on Nov. 30 at Miami (Ohio).
Other key contests include games at national powers Missouri and Duke and a match up with former Southern Conference foe UNC Greensboro.
Elon opens its first season in Colonial Athletic Association play when it travels to Drexel on Jan. 3. The first CAA game in Alumni Gym for the Phoenix is against William and Mary on Jan. 8. ELN released a full breakdown of the CAA schedule last month.
