Elijah Bryant, a starting guard for the Elon University men's basketball team, announced Tuesday on his Instagram account that he has transferred to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
The reigning Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year, who was granted his release from Elon earlier this month, also visited Butler University and the University of Miami before visiting BYU over the past weekend. Bryant also had a scholarship offer from University of Dayton.
Bryant led Elon in scoring last year, averaging 14.2 points per game.
Bryant will not play in the 2015-16 season because of NCAA transfer rules.
