An Elon University sophomore was arrested early Saturday morning on charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the Elon Police Department, Officer Ditra Graves was patrolling the area following a noise complaint when she noticed a car had driven into a ditch on West Lebanon Avenue.
Two female passengers manually pushed the car out before the suspect drove the car back into the ditch. He eventually drove the car out of the ditch and was arrested for the incident. He was charged with one count of driving while impaired and released on a $500 bond.
A court date was set for April 13.
