Scholarship weekend, formally known as Fellows weekend, will bring about 2,000 people to campus.

“The admissions office received over 2600 applications for these programs,” Vice President for Enrollment, Greg Zaiser wrote in an email statement to Elon News Network. “Our guests will be parking, touring and eating on campus so it will be a full and busy Friday and Saturday.”

All candidates coming to campus are required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test result within the last 48 hours.

Admitted students who applied to fellows, scholars and other accelerated programs will participate in interviews this weekend as well as other programming sessions.

Faculty and staff will interview candidates on Saturday morning after Friday evening meet and greet sessions with the admitted students.

The Admissions, McMichael, and Innovation Quad parking lots are all reserved for visitors and not to students this weekend. Students who normally park in these lots will need to park in the lots on South Campus, Arts West, the Station at Mill Point, and at the Schar Center Hunt B lot behind Schar Center. Any unauthorized cars in the reserved lots may be ticketed and towed.
