Donna Stroud is a Republican running for reelection to the North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Seat 9 and is the winner of the May 17 primary. Stroud received 6,162 ballots, which is 64.23%.
She was first elected in 2006 and according to her campaign website is running to continue her work enforcing the law as written, upholding the state and U.S. Constitution and ensure laws are enforced as they are written.
She has over 15 years of experience on the North Carolina Court of Appeals and has published over 1,000 judicial opinions.
