Every Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. from May to November, the Elon Community Church holds a farmers market in its parking lot.
The Authentically Alamance Farmers Market is an Alamance County market sponsored by the church, according to the church’s website. The network has three markets: North Park, Downtown Mebane and Elon.
Vendors are locally sourced, and all products are grown, baked or created in the surrounding area.
The market on Sept. 29 included 10 local vendors from different farms across Alamance County, who sold various items like organic produce, meat, cosmetic goods and more.
