Brad Salmon, a North Carolina native, currently serves as a district court judge for North Carolina District 11, a position he was appointed to by Gov. Roy Cooper in November, 2021.
He has served as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for District 51 and a legislative liaison at the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. Salmon is a founding partner of The Salmon Law Firm, where he focuses on representing clients in various criminal and civil matters.
Salmon has supported numerous state bills dealing with public education pursuits, agriculture and job creation, according to his Ballotpedia page. In addition to being a lawyer and district court judge, he served as an alternative member on the Harnett County Board of Adjustment and has sat on several committees promoting Harnett County's Agricultural Fair.
Salmon did not respond to Elon News Network's immediate requests for comment on the election.
