All services have been returned to normal. An E-Alert was sent out at 10:59 a.m. stating that services are being gradually restored. The message thanked the Elon community for their patience and assured that facilities management and IT worked diligently to ensure full restoration.
The disruption was caused by issues in the heating system of a campus technology building.

Elon University Information Technology Services is experiencing a system-wide outage which is impacting WiFi connectivity, phone, email and other IT services, according to an E-Alert message sent out this morning.
The university's main website, elon.edu, is unavailable, as well as Moodle, OnTrack and the mobile ordering dining hall system. According to an Instagram post from Elon Dining, the internet outage is also impacting the register systems in the dining halls.
Elon IT could not be reached for comment.
