Elon University’s men’s basketball team trails at halftime against the #2 Duke University Blue Devils, 44-26.
Last season, Elon University’s men’s basketball team struggled with interior defense and scoring. Head coach Mike Schrage said the Phoenix needed more size to help Michael Graham and Chuck Hannah in the frontcourt and is confident the team addressed that need this offseason.
The Elon University women's basketball team added some firepower over the off-season, adding transfers junior Bria Harmon and sophomore Ajia James to the roster.

Many students get their off-campus housing passed down to them through organizations or other students, and as the fall semester is coming to an end, students are beginning to look for 2022-23 housing. But this year, some students are struggling to find what’s left of the off-campus housing options.
The Bearpaw Campus Ranger program made its way to Elon University’s campus this fall for the second year. From Sept. 27 to Dec. 5, students were given the chance to have a hands-on, paid experience with the Bearpaw Marketing Team.
The next board meeting will be Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. The town of Elon town hall will be closed Dec. 23, 24, 27 and 31 in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
The Phoenix are now 5-2 heading into the team’s next matchup against Davidson College in Schar Center on Dec. 12.
Looking to snap its losing streak, the Phoenix (2-7) will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 11, to face off against the UNC Chapel Hill Tar Heels. The game is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m on the ACC Network.
