Town of Elon extends water bill deadline

All residents in the town of Elon have until the end of this month to pay their water bills. Residents that have not paid their bills by Nov. 3 will be disconnected from access to water, according to Town Manager Richard Roedner.

Live theater returns to Elon University

Online auditions, masked rehearsals, show cancellations and virtual performances. While the traditional theater experience was modified by the COVID-19 pandemic, this academic year, live performances are making a comeback at Elon University.

Childcare difficulties push Elon University professors to seek university assistance

Childcare in the town of Elon is a challenge for communications professor Kathleen Stansberry, and has been a consistent struggle since Elon University shut down in March 2020, the same time her three kids were also sent home from Elon Elementary.  But even after the return to in-person learning, this experience has only continued for Stansberry, and other faculty members are facing it too.

Dance research collaborates with multifaith scholars program at Elon University

Senior Emily Wilbourne will present her research on Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Tradition & Innovation in Korean Dance event, sharing the richness and depth of Korean dance both then and now, in addition to highlighting adjunct instructor in performing arts Jiwon Ha. Ha, who is from Busan, South Korea, virtually guided Wilbourne while she studied there in both the fall and the summer.
