Senior outside hitter Leah Daniel surpassed 1,000 kills for her career during the frame. Daniel is the first Elon player to reach the milestone since Kam Terry did so in 2018.
For the first time since 2012, Elon University’s football team traveled to a sold out Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone for a road game against Appalachian State. Despite a tight first half, the Phoenix fell 44-10 to the Mountaineers. The Phoenix (1-2) return home next week to take on William & Mary on Family Weekend.

The Phoenix have now shut out its last three opponents. The team has not allowed a goal since its match on Sept. 5 against North Carolina State University.

Vice President Emerita Jo Watts Williams died at the age of 92 at her home in Burlington today. Her death comes two months after the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education was named in her honor.
