Elon University has 19 academic buildings and 5200 students. I sought out an experiment to prove that everyone has a story to tell. By aiming with a dart at a map of Elon University, I was out to tell a story of a person at random.

Constitutional amendments up for vote in SGA election

Last semester was largely unprecedented for Elon University’s Student Government Association. The Chick-fil-A controversy that erupted on campus prompted an ad hoc committee to draft several amendments to the organization’s constitution, some of which will appear on SGA election ballots this week.

Arrests made in Elon armed robbery case

The Elon Police Department today arrested two men connected with the recent armed robbery of an Elon University student on Trollinger Street near the Trollinger Apartment complex. The Elon Police Department took into custody James Alexander “Junior” Long Booker, 21, and Cory Ledon Wilson, 19.

Arrests Made in Gunpoint Robbery

Today, two men were arrested for robbing an Elon student at gunpoint on February 1st. James Long Booker of Gibsonville and Cory Wilson of Burlington were placed under arrest by the Elon Police Department in connection to a robbery and the use of a stolen debit card.

The Wild Party

Violence, sex and substance abuse took center stage in McCrary Theatre this weekend. The Performing Arts Department just wrapped up its run of Andrew Lippa's "The Wild Party." In the musical set in the 1920s, a showgirl named Queenie is in an abusive relationship with a performer named Burrs.

There’s this new app called Tinder where you can scan through photos of people in your area, either clicking a green heart if you’re interested or a red X if you’re not.
