Elon football falls 44-10 against Appalachian State

For the first time since 2012, Elon University’s football team traveled to a sold out Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone for a road game against Appalachian State. Despite a tight first half, the Phoenix fell 44-10 to the Mountaineers. The Phoenix (1-2) return home next week to take on William & Mary on Family Weekend.

Elon volleyball wins CAA opener

The Phoenix avenged their losses to the College of Charleston Cougars on Friday, Sept. 17 in its first Colonial Athletic Association match. With this win, the Phoenix improved to 6-5 in the season. The team will move forward in CAA play on Saturday, Sept. 18 when they face the Cougars again.

Elon’s women’s soccer team earns third straight shutout

Elon University’s women’s soccer team defeated the Furman University Paladins 2-0 on Friday, Sept. 17 in its last non-conference match of the season. The Phoenix have now shut out its last three opponents. The team has not allowed a goal since its match on Sept. 5 against North Carolina State University.

Joshua Hall was selling his art to his friend’s dad before he realized where his career was headed. His friend’s dad was a tattoo artist, which soon influenced his future path. Now, Hall’s tattoo studio in Gibsonville has clientele across the East Coast.
