Now 14-14 on the season, Elon returns to conference play this weekend with three games on the road against Northeastern University.

Elon University head basketball coach Mike Schrage, who completed his third season with the Phoenix this year, resigned, effective immediately.

This year the university received 17,492 applications and offered enrollment to 12,836. This is the second largest application pool in university history, according to Zaiser. The university received 17,834 for the 2021-22 school year.

This year, nine students out of 166 in the program are on varsity sports teams. The program is open to everyone who applies to Elon, including student-athletes.

Elonthon raised a total of $134,364 for kids at Duke Children’s Hospital this weekend. The 13.1-hour event raised 39% less than it did at its last fully in-person event in 2019. The total that year was nearly $350,000 and the event was 24 hours long.
