Elon University will require all students to receive and upload documentation of a COVID-19 booster vaccination by Jan. 31, 2022, or within seven days of being eligible to receive the booster, according to an email from Healthy Elon Committee Chair Jeff Stein. According to Bill Burress, director of study abroad at Elon University, programs like Florence, Italy have seen an increase in enrollment because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a normal semester, Burress said programs are limited to no more than 80 students, but this year, that’s changed.

Eniris Riddick, the interim executive director of FaithAction International House, was working in her office last week when she received a phone call from a construction worker saying he was unable to work because of COVID-19. The construction worker was distraught and needed help — he and his family were in jeopardy of being evicted from their home.
