The Phoenix return to action at Schar Center on Friday, Dec. 31 for their second conference game against the Hofstra University Pride.
Elon finishes its non-conference schedule with a 3-10 record and will play its first CAA game on Dec. 29 against the Northeastern University Huskies. Northeastern has canceled its last two games because of positive COVID-19 tests within its program. The matchup is tentatively scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Schar Center.

Last season, Elon University’s men’s basketball team struggled with interior defense and scoring. Head coach Mike Schrage said the Phoenix needed more size to help Michael Graham and Chuck Hannah in the frontcourt and is confident the team addressed that need this offseason.

Elon (3-8) will return to action on Dec. 18 for a game against Shaw University. The game at Schar Center will begin at 4 p.m.
Coming to Elon is an accomplishment that Elon University senior Duru Tasman holds in high regards, and one that she said made her journey worth it. The bold decision to study in another country, away from her family and home, was not an easy one — but one she said she stands by nonetheless.

Five Elon University football players have entered the NCAA’s Transfer Portal and will look to finish their college football careers at a new school.
Senior guard Brie Perpignan has been a leader for Elon University’s women’s basketball for the last four seasons. After the team’s last season was shortened due to COVID-19, Perpignan said she is excited to be back on the court.
Now 2-6 on the season, Elon will look to snap its losing streak on Saturday, Dec. 4 in a home tilt against the High Point University Panthers. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

The Phoenix take on #1 South Carolina on the road on Nov. 26. With a 4-0 record, Smith said she is looking forward to the chance to take on such a well-ranked opponent this week.
