Some Elon University students and faculty are disturbed over the passing of North Carolina Senate Bill 41, which appealed handgun permit requirements for individuals looking to purchase handguns.
Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk and Sanofi own roughly 90% of the global insulin market. While costing less than $10 to manufacture, the average annual amount of out-of-pocket money that people with health coverage have to pay for insulin has more than doubled over the last two decades, according to Health System Tracker.
The bot in question is an artificial intelligence chatbot called ChatGPT, released in November 2022 by San Francisco-based research laboratory OpenAI. It is not the first of its kind — Siri, Grammarly and customer service bots are all examples of chatbot technology. But ChatGPT distinguishes itself with its ability to answer advanced, creative questions and remember the thread of dialogue.
