Rubio surges after strong South Carolina showing

Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) battled all night to finish ahead of one another in the South Carolina Republican primary. According to CNN, Rubio currently holds an approximated 1,000 vote lead over Cruz with an estimated 99 percent of the votes accounted for.
