For many Elon University students, it might be tempting to spend Friday afternoons outside. But for those looking for another way to spend their free time, The Kernodle Center offers an indoor option: Getting on the Bus. The Get on the Bus program began its fourth year Oct.

Amanda Hulon-Coyle, under the stage name Virginia Scare, is the founder of The VaudeVillian Revue, a neo-vaudeville and burlesque troupe that played its first show in Raleigh in November 2011. "The VaudeVillian Revue pays homage to the history of vaudeville stylistically, and by occasionally reprising classic acts," she said.

Zeta Phi Beta sorority is putting a twist on a classic story with its Cinderella Project. By collecting prom dresses for young women in the Burlington community who may not be able to afford one on their own, the sorority is helping create a fairytale for more than 150 high school girls.
