Women’s basketball falls in Smith’s homecoming
Elon University women’s basketball (2-2) traveled to head coach Charlotte Smith’s alma mater where they took on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels (4-0) and lost 76-46.
Elon University women’s basketball (2-2) traveled to head coach Charlotte Smith’s alma mater where they took on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels (4-0) and lost 76-46.
The Elon University cross-country teams are looking to end the season with another NCAA Regional Championship appearance. However, before punching their ticket to Charlottesville, Virginia, they will be traveling to New Market, Virginia, for the Colonial Athletic Association Championship on Friday Nov. 15.
Elon volleyball (8-10, 4-2 CAA) defeated the Delaware Blue Hens (11-4, 3-2 CAA) in Schar Center on Oct. 13 in five sets after a competitive back and forth game. This was a bounce-back conference win for Elon volleyball after losing their past two previous conference games.
Though senior Scolasticah Kemei's run through the competition has seemed effortless, her path to get to this point was anything but that.
Elon volleyball (6-8) defeated the Northeastern Huskies (7-7) Sunday in Schar Center in five sets after being down 2-0. This win continues a 2-0 undefeated streak for the Phoenix for their first two conference games.
